Modifications

Thanks to Clip-Share's extensive community support, there are many modifications available for all versions of the script that change or enhance Clip-Share's core functionality while providing new features or changing others. They could almost be considered plug-ins or modules similar to those in CMS systems like Joomla or Mambo, but they are actually script hacks that must be done to the actual files themselves.

Writers:

This page is going to require some refinement, but for now basically we can assume it will be split into three categories:

• Free Modifications
• Free Modifications in Beta Phase?
• Paid Modifications
• Modifications Wanted

Then in each page, we must establish a general format. I think the best would be to have a summary page as the landing to each of the headers above with a table listing things such as title, short description, compatibility, and price. Each table should probably be split up into categories, such as uploads, player edits, community.... etc. I would then expect to have the title of each mod on this page to go to it's own page with a full description, files needed to be edited, instructions/procedure (in the case of free mods) and purchase information (in the case of paid mods).

A very important factor to consider is how to implement version compatibility!

Please start work on only one of the pages and we will fine-tune it as it goes, then we can copy the design to the other three pages.

I have already created a template for the modifications detail pages. Please use that when starting a new page for a mod. If you don't know how to format pages, review Wiki-Syntax before editing and play around in the Sandbox for a while! :)
