Stub!

This page is definitely a stub and is pretty much a place-holder for future content. Once developed, this will have a breakdown of all the mods that are available for Clip-Share? for free. This page can also be used as a template when developing the beta and paid modules list. Here is a general breakdown on how to list the mods:

• Title: This should be the title, or name of the mod as set by the author. Try to keep this fairly short, it should NOT be a description! The title should also use an internal wiki link to the mod details page itself (more on that below)
• Description: A short description of what the mod does. This should be the same description as the short description on the individual mod's page.
• Category: Categorize the mod by showing what the mod actually applies to or affects. Example, if you have an embedder mod, then make the category Uploads. Feel free to create new categories if your mod does not fall into a category that is already there. Ex: thumbnails, comments, admin tool, conversion
• Difficulty: Should be a ranking of how hard the mod is to install and use, from a ranking of *--------- (easiest) to ********** (hardest). This should be up to the mod author's discretion but can be tweaked by individual users that have installed the mod afterwards since the ratings system will undoubtedly vary as harder and easier mods are introduced.
• Compatibility: This should show what sub-versions this mod is compatible with. IE, if the mod is listed under CS 4 Mods, then you should specify if it is known to be compatible with 4.0, 4.1, etc?
• Author: Please make sure the author is listed. Although no links are allowed to go from this page to the author's homepage directly, please link the author to that author's wiki page or userpage.
• Sorting: Please make sure mods are sorted alphabetically by CATEGORY first, then sort by MOD NAME. This will keep the sorting fair so nobody is adding mods to the top of the page and gaining more exposure. Either way, someone truly interested in a mod will view almost all the mods anyways.

Modification Details Page

When you are listing a mod, you are expected to make a separate page for the mod itself, which would be linked from the tables above. When you create a new page, simple click on the drop-down box at the top to choose the FREE Mods Template (you can also play with it in the Sandbox before posting!). Here is what the template for those pages looks like.

Details

Description

Write a longer and more detailed description of what exactly your mod does to the site. You will want to include how the mod will benefit the end users/administrative tasks and probably a brief explanation on how it works. This should not be the same as the short description above!

Requirements

If this requires something extra, such as another mod, theme or software on the server, be sure to list it here with a link to a page (preferably internal but external works too) representing it! These should be in bullet form. If no requirements are necessary then just say "This modification does not have any special requirements outside of a core Clip-Share? installation."
